Robert Smith is a professional UK photographer, illustrator, and writer who has worked with a wide range of international and media clients. Rob shoots both analogue and digital, work that combines traditional skills with the latest imaging techniques. Joined, the two dimensions add depth and narrative to photography and digital imagery. Smith has a proclivity for black & white photography which he feels is better suited for the expression of raw emotion without the distraction of color. In his words, “Color offers me a get out of jail free card. Mono makes me want to stay locked inside.”
His work is a combination of fashion, product, landscape, advertising, and portrait photography. A list of his clients include Waterlink and Pure Health Magazines, Espotel, LTI, and Zum Biespiel.

The theme of this photographic competition is "BLACK AND WHITE" chose this theme in the drop down menu when you upload your images.

1. All images uploaded must have been taken by the uploader.
2. The person with the highest public vote will win.
3. One image (any image) will be chosen for place in the 'Gallery' by the team.
5. All normal rules for photography count etc etc
6. All images must be black and white, NO COLOUR !!
7. You can enter up 2 images only!.
8. If at any time we decide that the competition is not suitable due to lack of entries or quality of images we have the right to cancel it without notice (very unlikely !!).
9. Two curators will judge this competition.
10. In the event of a draw the winner will be chosen from the toss of a coin, but both images will enter the gallery.
11. The 'Gallery' image will also be uploaded to the Kujaja facebook page at 1024 res.
