Atala (Eumaeus atala florida) sitting on a leaf in Miami, Florida. It warns the enemy with colors not to eat. The caterpilar eats plants, which are containing poison.
Eumaeus atala florida were beliefed to have been extinct because it was not seen in the years 1937-1959. This species is living only in south of florida and the keys.
