photographing - twoblackcats

Allow me to introduce myself, I am seen here in New York's New Museum.

I'm here taking a shot of a work by Sarah Charlsworth (which was on black perspex) from a retrospective of her work called Doubleworld..

I should point out that I'm not actually this attractive.

Looking for and living with uncertainty is my compulsion - photographing is part of that compulsion - I have well over one thousand images on this site - I obviously have an obsession.

I love that this obsession is fed and shared by others here at Kujaja. The site now has a fascinating body of work. Those seeking the obvious, pretty, petty and crass find a home on other sites where social media rules.

"The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing." Einstein

Uncertainty is the situation which involves imperfect and or unknown information. Uncertainty arises in partially observable and/or stochastic environments, as well as due to ignorance and/or indolence. All religions proffer certainty and their own version of truth - poof to that.

The uncertainty principle, also known as Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, is any of a variety of mathematical inequalities asserting a fundamental limit to the precision with which certain pairs of physical properties of a particle, known as complementary variables, such as position x and momentum p, can be known simultaneously. Do you believe that?

Probably, if it wasn't for uncertainty we wouldn't exist.

This is me being uncertain, reading either too much or too little - hanging out in art galleries and stealing art from life - hiding behimd my camera - cloaking it all in the uncertainty of knowledge - posing.

One day I'll kick it all - but maybe not?

I'll keep asking questions and accepting no answers - imagining

"He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." Einstein - I love Einstein

Tom Jones singing Bob Dylan - who'd have predicted that?
