made for the book: One Minute on Earth 2014
I only had limited travel time for this years shoot and wasn't able to travel anywhere too exotic.
Fortunately for me there is quaint riverside village about 15-20 minutes away from my house, which is about an hour north of Sydney, Australia.
Brooklyn, has a population of 744 and was settled in the late 1800's. There is essentially one main road through 'town' and is a popular spot for fishing and boating.
In many ways, Brooklyn is a one of Sydney's best kept secrets. Many people pass it by, completely unaware of it's existence, as they drive along the freeway a little west of town.
This shot is of the Hawkesbury River a few metres away from where many people launch their boats. There were quite a lot of boats heading out that morning.
